Vol. I
Recipes
A field-tested kitchen notebook
Cook it, write it down, cook it again.
This isn’t a glossy cookbook — it’s a working notebook. Every page is something I’ve actually made: notes in my own voice, shortcuts admitted, and fixes when a sauce goes sideways.
If a recipe’s here, it earned its spot in the rotation. The rest is holiday runbooks, gym-night slop, and whatever I’m testing next.
Open a category below (or use the sidebar) and dig in. If you’re someone I like and you’re reading this — hi, and I hope you’re hungry.
Tip: use the category drawers on this page for a quick scan, or the sidebar if you already know where you’re headed. Holiday meal plans are in Holiday runbooks, just above the drawers.
Start here
- Steamed Bun Can be as big as you want them to be
- Ramen Wooooooooooo yeah baby that’s what I’ve been waiting for that’s what it’s all about WOOOOOOOOOO — complex, split into parts; bear with me cause it’s hella worth
- Cobbler of the Peaches™ A top tier dessert — I made this with sour peaches from the backyard but it was still good
Holiday runbooks
Schedules and prep timelines — links go straight to the real recipes.
- Christmas dinner runbook Multi-day prep plus a Christmas Eve clock — built around the prime rib blast-and-rest. Ingredient quantities and techniques live on each recipe page.
- New Year’s dinner runbook Chicken fricassée, green beans almondine, bread, lemon tart — shopping and a sane day-of order. Full methods are on each recipe page (baguette notes are still a stub).
