Cobbler of the Peaches™

Cobbler is like if Pie and Casserole had a baby.

How to do it

  1. Put the sliced peaches, sugar, and 1 tsp salt into a saucepan
  2. Cook on medium heat for 2–3 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved
  3. Remove from heat and set aside
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F
  5. Place the stick of butter in the casserole dish; place dish in oven while it preheats
    • It should melt completely by the time the oven has preheated
  6. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl
  7. Stir in the milk slowly and mix it all
    • Should be doughy-ish but slightly less viscous
  8. Take out the casserole dish and pour the batter over the melted butter and smooth it out
  9. Spoon the peaches over the batter
  10. Sprinkle some cinnamon
  11. Bake for 38–40 minutes
  12. Take out, cool for a bit but not too much cause it’s best served warm
  13. Eat
